About the Initiative
Join us for the SPS Tech 2026, organised by the IEEE VTS & SPS Student Branch Chapter of the University of Coimbra and supported by the IEEE SPS Chapter Portugal. This two-day event at DEEC–FCTUC will feature talks from academia and industry on vehicular technology, 5G/6G communications, and modern signal processing. MSc and PhD students are invited to present posters and demos, share their work, and network with researchers and professionals. We look forward to welcoming you to Coimbra!

The event will take place at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC), University of Coimbra, Polo II.

LocationEvent Details
- Oral Presentations: Each presentation should be approximately 4–5 minutes long. We highly encourage you to present in English.
- Poster Session: Authors will be expected to present and defend their work. While we encourage presentations in English, the poster defense can be conducted in Portuguese.
- Poster Printing: If you do not have your poster printed, please notify the organizing committee at least one week in advance so we can arrange the printing for you.
- Evaluation: Oral presentations and posters will be evaluated by a jury panel composed of 3 members from the IEEE and DEEC.
